View an XLSX spreadsheet online
Check an Excel workbook quickly without opening a full office suite. This local XLSX viewer shows each worksheet in a searchable grid so you can inspect values, sheet names, and hidden tabs from any modern browser.
The workbook is parsed on your device and the source remains unchanged. Large sheets are capped in the preview for browser stability, and any VBA project is detected but never run.

How it works
Choose a supported document from your device. Its bytes are read directly by this browser tab.
The viewer selects the matching local parser: PDF renderer, spreadsheet grid, Office package reader, ebook reader, or safe text decoder.
Move between PDF pages, slides, document sections, or workbook sheets; search extracted text and spreadsheet values locally.
Clear the file when finished. The read-only preview is discarded from the tab and nothing has been uploaded.
What the tool does
- Real PDF page rendering with page navigation and zoom
- Read-only XLSX, XLS, XLSM, ODS, CSV, and TSV grids with sheet tabs
- DOCX, ODT, PPTX, and EPUB text reconstruction without running embedded content
- Safe plain-text viewing for TXT, Markdown, HTML, JSON, and XML
- Search across extracted document text or loaded spreadsheet cells
- Hidden and very-hidden spreadsheet sheets labelled for intentional review
- Macros, scripts, remote resources, forms, and embedded executables never run
How the result is verified
A preview is shown only after the relevant local parser accepts the file structure. PDF pages must render through PDF.js, spreadsheets must expose readable sheets, Office and ebook packages must contain their required document parts, and text is decoded as inert content. Reconstructed layout limitations remain explicitly labelled.
Frequently asked questions
Can this viewer open hidden Excel sheets?
Yes. Hidden and very-hidden sheets are listed and labelled so you can review them intentionally without changing the workbook.
Are Excel macros safe to open here?
The viewer detects a VBA project but never executes it. It reads stored workbook values into a read-only preview.
