How local processing works
Choose locally
Pick a file with your browser's file picker, drag and drop, or paste. It is opened by code running in your tab.
Edit locally
Redact, compress, convert, clean — the processing engine runs on your device. Your file's bytes never leave it.
Verify
Before offering a download, the tool reopens its own output and checks that the change really happened.
Download
The result is written straight from browser memory to your disk. Close the tab and it's gone from the session.
Don't take our word for it — verify it with your browser's network panel. The whole point is that you don't have to trust us.
Fair questions
How can these tools be free with no account?
Because your files never touch our servers, we don't pay for upload bandwidth, processing clusters, or storage — the expensive parts of a typical file-tool service. Serving a static site is cheap, so there is nothing to paywall.
How do I know my file isn't uploaded?
You can verify it: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network panel, and process a file. You'll see the page's own assets load, and no request carrying your file. Our How it works page walks through it step by step.
Is there a file size limit?
No artificial one. Capacity depends on your device's memory and browser — a laptop handles bigger files than a budget phone. Tools warn instead of silently failing when a file is too heavy for the device.
Do the tools add a watermark?
No. Outputs contain your content and nothing else. The watermark tool exists for stamping your own documents — that's the only watermark you'll ever see.
Your file is still sitting there. Deal with it.
No sign-up screen, no upload bar, no "premium" popup at the last step. Pick a tool and be done in a minute.
