Frequently asked questions
Does the export contain what I cropped out?
No. Only the pixels inside the square are drawn into the new image, unlike some document formats where cropping merely hides the rest.
What size square should I aim for?
Keep it as large as the photo allows; you can always resize down afterwards. For profile pictures, most platforms are happy with anything from 400 pixels up.
